November is Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month, but honors caregivers as well
Most families affected by Alzheimer’s disease know that November is “National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month,” but some members of those same families are not aware that family caregivers are honored during the month as well. Thursday, July 22, marked the end of the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference held in Paris. The weeklong forum gave researchers the opportunity to report on and discuss the groundbreaking research and information on the cause, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.
